The Hardware

Blackhawk use the latest in GPS tracking technology inside our quality New Zealand built G3 tracking unit. Every individual component is selected for quality over cost you give you piece of mind that the unit won't fail when you need it to work 24/7. The unit is built for security with multiple anti-tamper mechanisms and software monitoring. Even if the car battery is removed the device will still be tracked for another 3 months in ultra-low power mode.

The Data

The data generated from the Blackhawk system uses 128-bit encryption from vehicle to Database and is stored on multiple servers in multiple secured locations. Data integrity and security is a primary focus for Blackhawk. Access to the data is only given to yourself. No one else can get the information. The website uses SSL 128 bit Encryption to insure you are safe to view the information via the internet.

Tracking and Maps

The device uses an advanced tracking algorithm based on speed, direction; distance and time to give you the most actuate location and path information possible. Address and road information is updated every 3 months through Geosmart™.
